Seth Redmore

I’ve spent two decades helping organizations understand and implement AI technologies, starting long before it became mainstream. My first machine learning project was back in 2005 in Cisco Systems, when I needed to convince some servers in a (very hot) 2nd floor building D closet to give me some business-relevant analysis of a whole bunch of news and social content. This was far away from any datacenter and years before anything like deep learning. But it worked just well enough. I loved it! I ended up spending years as Chief Marketing Officer helping one of the lead AI-natural language processsing companies (Lexalytics) fend off everyone from Google to IBM. In the process, I learned enormous amounts about how AI systems are engineered, deployed, and used. I recently published “Generative AI for the Curious Businessperson” to help bridge the gap between technical innovation and practical business application. I have two more books in the pipeline. In addition to the writing, I’m working with industry application experts in functional areas that take advantage of my AI and natural language processing expertise to bring specific, point applications to market. The first of these is in the PDF accessibility space, using AI to increase the remediation efficiency and throughput of high-complexity PDFs.
