I’m excited to announce the launch of Redmore Studio (https://redmore.studio), my new digital home dedicated to making Generative AI and Agentic AI comprehensible, practical, and implementation-ready for mid-market business leaders. I have a book coming out on May 15 (Generative AI for the Curious Businessperson, Book 1), two more are drafted and in review. There will be educational material, and I will be making myself available to various 1:1 and 1:many engagements.
I’ve been working in, on, around, above, and below machine learning and AI since I started annoying the people in Cisco System’s PR department over 20 years ago with requests they didn’t want to deal with. We built an excellent working relationship, and I led a team that built an excellent tool.
The tool, named “Second Opinion”, shifted us from counting mentions to evaluating conversations. A shift that required a machine learning core, a core that would eventually become AI in its own right. A shift that changed my career, and brought me to this moment here.
I took a path in AI that led me to Chief Marketing Officer of a language-focused AI company, Lexalytics. I spent 10 years at Lexalytics (now InMoment), 10 years that was remarkably well lined up to today’s world of large language models (LLMs). Engines like the those behind ChatGPT and Claude.
Why Redmore Studio?
After years in the AI and NLP space, I noticed a critical gap: most AI resources are either too technical for business leaders or too simplistic to be actionable. Mid-market businesses face unique challenges with excellent possibilities – they have resources to implement AI solutions but need practical guidance to value that doesn’t require the enterprise-level complexity.
That’s where Redmore Studio comes in.
What We’re Offering On The Site
My content focuses on three core areas:
- AI General Knowledge – Demystifying concepts like Large Language Models (LLMs), the Transformer architecture, and what “intelligence” really means in the AI context.
- AI Regulatory Environment – Keeping you informed about the evolving landscape of AI regulation, compliance requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
- AI for Business – Practical, specific content on how to adopt GenAI and Agentic AI workflows to solve real business problems.
Plus a “NOT AI” section because I wanted to leave my options open, I want to be able to discuss the music I love (because, hey, it’s my site), and I love a good rant now and again.
Coming May 15th: The Book That Started It All
I’m thrilled to announce my upcoming book, “Generative AI for the Curious Businessperson, Book 1: What Having Generative AI and Agentic Workflows Means, and What You’re Going to do About It.”
This first volume in a three-part series will:

Cut through buzzwords to deliver clear explanations of foundational concepts
Explore how GenAI democratizes “small-i intelligence” (not to be confused with human-level intelligence)
Address common fears about job displacement with historical context
Introduce the revolutionary potential of Agentic AI systems
Give you a benchmark for evaluating “agenticity” – SMART GEAR
Provide a framework for problem-first AI adoption
Most importantly, it’s written specifically for mid-market business professionals – no technical background required. (It’s okay if you’re technical. We won’t mock you for it.)
So, yeah, I wrote the book then made the studio. More accurately, I wrote 3 books, and then did the studio. Book 2 and 3 will be out this year. Roughly speaking, they break down as:
- Book 1: Agentic Workflows, what are they
- Book 2: How do you make them (Technology and Practics)
- Book 3: How do you protect them (Bias and Security)
It is important to emphasize that these will cover technical topics, but from the perspective of “what do you need to know as a business person to represent your function at AI strategy meetings and to use the tools presented to you.”
IlluminAIte Your Business Future
I’ve made Redmore Studio with a commitment to what I fondly call “illuminAIte” – cutting through AI noise and complexity to deliver actionable clarity on tools, regulations, and strategic implications relevant for business decision-making.
I’ve spent the bulk of my career working in small and medium businesses, and the other part spent marketing to them. My goal isn’t to dazzle you with technical jargon, nor to bedazzle the state of things with marketingology, but to provide the information you need to solve real problems without creating new ones.
Visit https://redmore.studio today and sign up for my newsletter to be notified when the book ships and to be lightly pelted with my latest insights on a roughly weekly basis.
Let’s fight in the AI revolution together.
